Gabriel Jesus wants to remain at Emirates but his future still remains uncertain.

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is prepared to turn down any offers to leave the club this summer. He wants to earn a place in the team. Jesus was signed by Arsenal from Man City in the summer of 2023.

The 27-year-old impressed in his debut season, scoring 11 goals and providing six in 26 English top-flight matches. They struggled to follow up on that performance in his second season.

Jesus scored only four goals in 27 league appearances last season. He was dropped since the arrival of Kai Havertz. The German also started the Arsenal’ first match of the current league campaign.

The 27-year-old had to settle for a spot on the bench against Wolves but was brought on for the final few minutes after Declan Rice was withdrawn due to a cramp.

The Brazilian wants to remain at Emirates but his future still remains uncertain. Arsenal are busy to find a new centre-forward. Arteta wants someone who can score 20 to 25 goals per season.

Jesus was linked with AC Milan and Juventus. Both are believed to have been keeping an eye on him. Saudi Pro League clubs are planning to sign him with a huge offer.

Meanwhile, Arteta suggested that he will not be pursuing a new forward in the current transfer window. He said, “I have faith in (Havertz), we have faith in (Jesus) – Leandro has played in that position.

“So we have different qualities in there, and the best thing we can do is trust our players and try to improve them. They are so good and so willing and that’s what we focus on,” the Arsenal boss said.
