The Frenchman made his long awaited debut for Arsenal on Friday against Crystal Palace.
This was his first competitive game for the Gunners since his arrival in 2019 for £27m.
Saliba produced an immaculate performance that night and was even named Player of the Match by Jamie Carragher.
He earned rave reviews from pundits, fans and even his manager Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes was also impressed with the 21-year-old’s performance at Selhurst Park.
He told Evening Standard: “For me, he’s the best! He’s very young, very promising and a very good player. I am so happy to play with him, together. He has now started in the Premier League and he was so good.
“The team did very well. They showed intensity and everyone stayed together. It’s very difficult to play here, but our keeper was strong. I believe in this team and it was very good. We got a clean sheet and three very good points.”
