Granit Xhaka feels English clubs have stamped their authority in the European competitions this season.

Arsenal thrashed Valencia 4-2 to set up a final encounter with Chelsea who had to sweat a lot to get the better of Eintracht Frankfurt. On the other side, both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur fought their way back in the second leg to make it an all England final once again.

Unai Emery has had a brilliant record in the Europa League having won the competition consecutive three times during his stint at Sevilla and his side needs to put up a valiant effort in a bid to secure Champions League football next season.

Xhaka said, “Every team that can get to a final is strong enough so, we know Chelsea, we play a lot against them.

“Four teams in the final shows everyone what a league the Premier League is and we hope we are ready for the final.

“You should have to go for the first six from the Premier League into the Champions League, so strong is the league.

“It is only four teams, four teams in the final now and so we can be proud.”
