Serie A giants had identified Bernd Leno as a replacement for Samir Handanovic.
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is no more a transfer target for Inter Milan. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano denied all speculations. Leno has dropped behind Aaron Ramsdale at the Emirates Stadium. The goalkeeper could leave the Premier League club either in January or at the end of the current season.
A recent report cleared that Serie A giants had identified Bernd Leno as a replacement for Samir Handanovic. Romano denied all the claims and cleared that Inter Milan are not considering the German international. Inter Milan are interested in Ajax’s Andre Onana.
Leno has conceded nine times for Mikel Arteta’s side in three Premier League encounters this season. His contract will expire after two years.
The 29-year-old has now been an unused substitute in Gunners’ last three matches against Norwich City, Burnley and Tottenham. Arsenal won their previous Premier League encounter against North-London arch-rivals Spurs.
