Inter’s new manager Antonio Conte is keen on bringing in Xhaka as he feels the Switzerland captain can be a good fit in his style of play. Arsenal are reportedly demanding €40 million from Inter and the club is willing to pay the amount.
Arsenal want to fortify their squad for the upcoming season but they are reportedly a little short of cash. Hence, the transfer of Xhaka could bring in funds which Arsenal can use to sign another player.
