Hector Bellerin is set to leave Arsenal this summer, according to Charles Watts.
We are just ten days away from the summer transfer window and Arsenal are yet to get any deals started.
Bellerin is one of the many names who are expected to leave. Goal.com reporter, Watts said on his YouTube channel, “Hector Bellerin – this is an interesting one. We’re all expecting Hector to go, it’s widely known at Arsenal that he will be allowed to leave this summer if a deal can be done with a club.
“[He] could’ve left last year, Arteta convinced him to stay one more year, did that, found his place out of the team by the end of the season – Calum Chambers, first-choice right-back; Cedric had even got ahead of him at times.
“The feeling is, two years left on his contract, the time is right for all parties to move on. Bellerin is already looking at possible new clubs.”
Mikel Arteta will likely bring in a replacement if Bellerin were to leave. Reports have linked aArsenalto Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui recently. The 23-year-old is on an expiring contract set to end next year. He has 26 appearances under his belt this season. The Gunners were first linked to him in 2019 and might finally be able to get their hands on him this summer.
