Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic has let his intentions known about joining Arsenal but is unhappy with the club’s spoilt relationship with Sven Mislintat.
The German talent spotter who joined the Gunners a year back as the club’s head of recruitment will be leaving the side after the conclusion of the January transfer window. The relationship between the two parties has turned sour regarding issues of player transfers.
Mislintat left Borussia Dortmund for a similar issue before setting camp at North London. In the Bundesliga, Mislintat oversaw the transfer of Perisic from Club Brugge to BVB, where the Croatian spent two seasons and scored 9 league goals.
Arsenal want to complete the signing of Perisic on loan by the transfer deadline but Inter are unwilling to let go of the winger without the guarantee of £35m sale next summer.
As per earlier reports, Perisic has already handed in a transfer request. Now, another Italian news publication, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that it was Mislintat who had originally suggested the 29-year-old’s name for a potential trade.
Arsenal have gained a lot from the Mislintat’s service who played a key role in bringing in club’s most expensive signing, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Dortmund.
