Premier League legend Jamie Carragher is sharing his prediction on the upcoming Arsenal-Man City game in the Premier League. He has backed Mikel Arteta’s side to beat Manchester City this weekend.
Carragher is optimistic on Arsenal’s winning chances despite their poor record against the Premier League winners. Arsenal have lost each of their last 12 top-flight games against Man City. They last beat the Cityzens in 2015.
Man City has been weakened with suspended Rodri and injured Kevin de Bruyne. The duo is out from the main XI.
While talking on Sky Sports, Carragher backed Arsenal to win the top-flight game. He said, “I’m going to go for Arsenal. I think Arsenal just might do it.
“With home advantage and Rodri not playing – who’s a huge player for Man City.”
“Hopefully that will give us a title race between now and the end of the season. I want Liverpool to be involved,” he added.
“I think we want this title race to go as long as it could possibly go – and last season it did. I thought it was brilliant between Man City and Arsenal.”
