Jorginho is playing an important backup role in Mikel Arteta’s team.
Jorginho has been on radar of experts since his deaprture from Chelsea. The player have suggested that he has no concerns over a lack of contract talks with Arsenal.
The 31-year-old midfielder made the summer move from Chelsea to the Emirates in winter. He signed an 18-month deal with an option of a further 12-month extension.
The Italian has made 14 starts and 11 substitute appearances across all competitions. He is playing an important backup role in Mikel Arteta’s team.
The Italy international has featured on nine occasions in 2023-24, making just three starts. However, he started in last two fixtures against Manc City and Chelsea.
Jorginho said: “No, I haven’t had any conversations to be honest. And the only thing I can say is that I feel really good here and I am really happy at Arsenal.
“I didn’t think [about it] to be honest with you! I am thinking about tomorrow.”
He also added: “There is this togetherness and it just helps everyone so much, every single player. After what happened [against Tottenham], I felt something really strong. There was something really, really good and something special about this club.”
