The 31-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal at the start of this year to add experience and depth in the Gunners midfield.
But he had to settle for three appearances and just 17 minutes worth of action this season.
Jorignho was heavily linked with a move to Fenerbahce but the player’s agent has dismissed those rumours.
But the Italian midfielder looks set to continue at Arsenal and play a more prominent role as Thomas Partey is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The 31-year-old was also left out of the Italy squad for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.
With the return of Champions League football at Arsenal, Jorginho has no intention to leave the England capital this campaign.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos reveals that the player might be open to a move to Italy in the near future.
“Italy is always in our hearts, never say never,” Santos said via Tutto Napoli.
“If there is an Italian team that needs Jorge and his characteristics, we will see what will happen.”
Santos added: “Jorginho’s characteristic is unique and needed by all teams in the world. When the coach needs that characteristic he will call Jorge.”
