Arsenal are yet to speak with suitors for Hector Bellerin.
It is common knowledge that Bellerin wants to leave North London this summer with reported interest from Italy and Spain.
Real Sociedad and Sevilla were said to be interested but the most concrete links have come from Inter Milan. Apparently, the Nerazzuri is looking at Bellerin as a potential repalcement for Achraf Hakimi. The latter is close to being announced as a PSG player.
Romano said, “We have received a lot of questions [about Bellerin], with Inter there is nothing advanced. There is nothing close to being completed and Arsenal are not at the moment going to accept a loan bid or something like this for Bellerin.”
Bellerin failed to meet expectations last season because of which he lost his starting berth to Calum Chambers towards the end of the campaign. He has never looked the same after suffering an ACL tear two years back. Mikel Arteta wants a more technically adept player who will be able to make an impact on both ends of the pitch.
So far, Arsenal have focused more on restructuring their midfield than the right-back spot. Fans will hope to see at least someone signed in that position ahead of the 2021/22 season.
