Los Blancos will eye the summer move for Arsenal defender in 2025.
Arsenal defender William Saliba is on the radar of top European clubs including La Liga heavyweights, Real Madrid. The Gunners have been warned about this.
The Frenchman is Arsenal’s key figure and one of the best defenders in the world right now. Mikel Arteta tried him in his main XI and his performance helped Arsenal to chase the Premier League in consecutive seasons.
Real Madrid are keen to sign a solid defender. They have also picked Alexander Arnold as the backup option if they fail to sign Saliba. They want to sign at least one of these two Premier League defenders.
Los Blancos will eye the summer move in 2025 and Saliba can also choose the better challenge in Spanish capital. Meanwhile, Arsenal will surely reject offers for the Frenchman.
Charles Watts speaks in his exclusive column on Caught Offside: “Of course he’s going to be linked with Madrid, PSG and every other top side in Europe. Who wouldn’t want William Saliba at their club?
“I don’t know how strong Madrid’s interest is in Saliba, but he’ll be on the radar, just as he will be for the other clubs that I’ve mentioned. If you were a sporting director at a top club and you weren’t keeping tabs on Saliba’s career and how things are going at Arsenal then you wouldn’t be doing your job right.”
