The club’s director, Fabio Paratici said, “Aaron Ramsey is a great player, for many years at great levels. [He] plays in a great team and now that’s enough. His contract is expiring and we’re always alerted to situations that the market offers. But at the moment he’s an Arsenal player, we’ll see…”
However, latest reports also claim that the Bianconeri are ready to sweeten the deal for Arsenal by offering Sami Khedira in return this January. Ramsey is being wooed by a number of European big guns like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 27-year-old has not accepted offers from any team yet and a bidding war has already started over him. Juventus wants to beat out the competition by completing the transfer by the end of this month.
Khedira has two more years left in his current contract with the Serie A giants but is still of lesser value due to his injury history. The 31-year-old has played in 9 games this season and is behind players like Miralem Pjanic, Emre Can, Rodrigo Bentacur and Blaise Matuidi in the pecking order.
It is unclear whether he would be an improvement to the Gunners squad or really bring the same amount of impact as Ramsey does but Unai Emery should certainly consider the offer.
