Arsenal may welcome back two key players for Tuesday’s crucial Premier League meeting with Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

Key Arsenal Duo Could Feature Against Aston Villa

Midfielder Kai Havertz, sidelined since August after knee surgery, has reportedly been included in the squad.

A final decision on his place in the matchday lineup will come on Tuesday. Defender Ben White also has an outside chance of featuring after a hamstring injury sustained in early December.

This potential double boost comes as Arsenal seek to avenge a painful 2-1 defeat at Villa Park earlier this month, sealed by a last-second winner.

The Gunners enter the clash on the back of three consecutive league victories, including a 2-1 win over Brighton this past weekend.

Havertz’s return to training this month signals his recovery progress.

While Gabriel Jesus currently acts as the primary deputy for striker Viktor Gyokeres, Havertz could provide a valuable attacking option from the bench if deemed ready.

White’s possible availability addresses a timely need in defense. With Jurrien Timber a doubt following a training issue, manager Mikel Arteta deployed Declan Rice at right-back against Brighton.

White’s return would allow Rice to resume his preferred role in midfield alongside Martin Zubimendi.

Arteta will make final assessments on both players ahead of the match.

Including them in the squad would offer Arsenal greater tactical flexibility and depth as they aim to close the gap at the top of the table with a statement victory over Unai Emery’s side.
