Kai Havertz (1.93 m) is Tallest Arsenal Player

Few football clubs can produce a team full of elite players by making eleven changes from their previous Premier League game, but Arsenal achieved just that in their 4-1 victory against Portsmouth. The fact that they accomplished this when a number of players were still absent is probably even more remarkable.

While Christian Nørgaard provides Mikel Arteta with much-needed depth at centre-half, Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie, Cristhian Mosquera, and Max Dowman are still out and battling to regain health. When I noticed that the midfield three lacked a recognised number six, I became a little worried.

The extremely offensively minded midfield of Mikel Merino, Eberechi Eze, and Ethan Nwaneri may have contributed to Pompey’s early success as the team figured things out. However, Merino in particular had a fantastic performance all around, and it turns out that he is also a defensive midfield option, despite our first belief that he was a possibility in the number nine position.

Havertz’s return sparks excitement as Arteta gains title boost

After some lengthy talks about the striker position, Kai Havertz made a welcome comeback to the team. Despite Viktor Gyokeres’ difficulties, the Gunners are leading both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Havertz made an impression during his cameo on the south coast, and Merino claims he and the team are “buzzing” about him. To varied degrees, the Spaniard had been employed up top to replace the German.

He said, “Amazing, amazing.” We are all eager for him to return following a severe injury. Everyone benefits greatly from having him around, including the environment at the training facility, the assistance he provides, and the fact that he is present during every training session.

And now that he’s on the pitch, the coach has an additional resource. We are overjoyed for him. In the League Cup semi-final against Chelsea, Arteta will have the opportunity to use a number of the players who were rested.
