Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has opened up about his side’s performance against Everton in their last match in the Premier League. The Gunners lost the match by 1-0, courtesy to a goal by veteran defender Phil Jagielka as their strikers missed a number of chances to get their side back in the match.
Speaking about his side’s performance in the match, the Frenchman said, “On Sunday we played badly, all the team. We didn’t do what the coach asked us but we still have confidence.”
He added, “We know we’re still in the race for the Champions League in the Premier League, but we want to win trophies so we are confident.”
Speaking about their poor performances away from home this season, the Arsenal striker said, “First at home we have the fans, so of course we feel more confident. Sometimes we want to do something but some days it’s not as we want, you can’t play as you want.”
