France and Arsenal forward, Alexandre Lacazette has requested the Gunners to retain ‘legend’ player Aaron Ramsey at the club.
Aaron Ramsey who has been associated with the Gunners for last 10 years has represented the side in over 300 games and has cored in over 50 occasions.
The English origin player has entered the final year of his contract with the Gunners and is unsure of an extension. He was an importaant element of the Arsenal squad until he suffered from an injury last year.
In talks with the Sky Sports, the Lacazette admitted that Arsenal need players like Ramsey to stay with the club for a longer period. He said, “Aaron has been there for about 10 years, he is like a legend at the club,”
“We have to be respectful for everything he has done and of course with his quality he can help the team to be better. He brings stability, quality and leadership. He is an example for all the young players too, so of course we need Aaron in the team.”
Henrikh Mkhitaryan was also the player who urged the club ko keep Ramsey.
“He has been at this club for 10 years already and it seems he has become a symbol for this club,” said the player.

“It is very easy to be next to him on the pitch because he tries to be everywhere to help the team, to score goals, with assists, to tackle and recover balls. That’s why I am going to be very happy if he stays at this club.”
