The “ideal signing” for many clubs would be Alexis Mac Allister, who is wanted by Arsenal
After his World Cup heroics, the Brighton midfielder is thought to be coveted by a number of teams, including the Arsenal.
Mac Allister is coveted by both Arsenal and Atletico Madrid. The 24-year-old, though, is unlikely to be inexpensive because of how highly regarded he is right now as a result of his contribution to Argentina’s World Cup victory.
According to a report from 90 Minutes, Brighton is reportedly asking for about £50 million, which is not unexpected. The Seagulls received a sizable quantity of money when they let Ben White to sign with Arsenal in 2021 and sold Marc Cucurella to Chelsea for a high price last summer.
Along with Mac Allister, Mykhaylo Mudryk, a winger for Shakhtar Donetsk, is a target for the Gunners, who have already made a few offers for him. The majority of Premier League teams would benefit greatly from having Mac Allister on their roster. Of course, the Argentina international excelled at the World Cup.
Additionally, Mac Allister averaged 1.3 critical passes per game throughout the tournament in Qatar. In that category, only Messi and Di Maria outperformed him. Mac Allister has excelled in other competitions besides the World Cup though. His Premier League performances for Brighton have also been strong.
