Man United are in talks with the young sensation Chido Obi Martin who has reportedly turned down the chance to sign a new contract with Arsenal. He is likely to sign a new deal with Man United this summer.
The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the finest attacking talents in Europe. He scored 10 goals in one game against Liverpool’s Under-16s. The Denmark youth international was in great touch in the Under-18 Premier League last season, scoring 32 goals in just 18 games.
Obi Martin’s feats have naturally attracted the attention of some big clubs. The Gunners have tried to push for the new contract.
Aa per reports of the Athletic, Obi Martin has decided to seek new pastures after his schoolboy terms with Arsenal expired. The 16-year-old is in talks over a transfer to Man United, and negotiations are in their embryonic stages.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will also push for the teenager’s signature. Man United currently lead the English interest. However, it’s not sure that the Red Devils will be successful in convincing Obi Martin to join.
