North London club are looking to find a new striker and they need some funds. Marseille are currently leading the race in pursuit of Nketiah. They consider him as an ideal replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who left the club for Saudi club.
The Ligue 1 club have struggled to make progress in negotiations as they failed to meet Arsenal’s valuation with their opening two offers. His current contract expires in the summer of 2027.
As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, the French giants have sent a fresh proposal to Arsenal as they look to make a breakthrough in their pursuit of Nketiah.
The report adds that Marseille are happy to restart negotiations, but they are seemingly reluctant to stray too far from their own valuation of the player.
