Martin Odegaard is building a connection with Emile Smith Rowe both on and off the pitch.
The Norwegian captain scored a wonderful free-kick in his side’s 1-0 win against Burnley last weekend.
Odegaard signed a permanent deal with Gunners this season following his successful six-month loan spell last season with the North London club.
Both Odegaard and Smith Rowe will take upon Arsenal’s creative burden and Odegaard explains the connection he has with the Arsenal academy star.
“I think we already have a good connection on the pitch,” Odegaard said.
“As you said, there are a lot of talented young players. We have Emile, Bukayo [Saka] and also a lot of other young players.
“We are getting along really well on and off the pitch, because everyone is young, with time, it will get better and better.
“And hopefully, we will get to know each other more and understand where each player wants the ball. I feel that will improve.
“But I already feel that we have a great connection. Hopefully, it will just get better and better.”
