Martinelli insists they are aware of how challenging it is to be England’s champions.
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli is optimistic to see better side in the next Premier League season. He has admitted that the Gunners understand how tough it is to win the Premier League title.
Arsenal have been an improved side in the last two seasons. The North London gave a tough fight to Manchester City in top-flight title. They missed out the glory despite taking the early lead at the top.
Martinelli insists they are aware of how challenging it is to be England’s champions. He said, as quoted by Sport Witness:
“I think we have to continue as we have been doing. It’s not easy to be champions in the Premier League, even more so if you have City or Liverpool in front of you. We will certainly go into next season stronger and with more confidence to try and win the title.”
Arsenal will now focus on the next season as they chase the Premier League glory. They have ticked few players to sign this summer. Mikel Arteta’s side failed to win any silverware despite a better show in last two seasons.
