Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has declared that a fit Kai Havertz will be a “really important” figure for his side, insisting the German forward “makes us much better.”

Arteta: “He Makes Us Much Better” – Manager Backs Key Arsenal Star

Arteta expressed his hope that the 26-year-old can now maintain consistent involvement with the squad following his return to action in the recent FA Cup victory over Portsmouth.

Havertz had been sidelined since August with a serious knee injury.

His comeback trail included a place on the bench last month, but he missed subsequent matches against Bournemouth and Liverpool as part of a careful recovery plan.

Arteta emphasized that those absences were purely for managing the player’s physical load.

Now, with Havertz back in contention, the Arsenal boss is clear about the value he adds.

“I hope that will mean that he’s fit and available,” Arteta stated on Hayers Tv.

“And if he’s fit and available for sure he’s going to be in the squad, and he’s going to be a really important player for us.”

Arteta’s strong endorsement highlights his belief in Havertz’s quality and his potential impact for the remainder of the campaign.

The manager’s comments signal both relief at the player’s recovery and confidence in his ability to influence Arsenal’s pursuit of success this season.

“He’s a player that makes us much better,” Arteta affirmed, underlining the forward’s significance to the team’s plans as they compete across multiple fronts.
