The youngster put up his second Man of the Match performance against Brighton on Monday to help Arsenal win 1-0.
He made a brilliant solo run to get away from the Brighton defender and square the ball off for Alexandre Lacazette to finish. It chalked off exactly the kind of form Saka is in right now. He is Arsenal’s creative focus up front, racking up 15 assists this year which is the highest by any teenager across Europe.
Mikel Arteta of course, could not hold back praise for the 19-year-old ace but urged caution against overdoing it with the praise. Saka is still very young and developing as a professional.
“I would like everybody to be cautious and let him be and let him develop,” Arteta said. “I think he’s having the right progression. I think he’s got the right people around him in his house, in his entourage.”
Bukayo Saka signed a contract extension in July extending his stay at North London until 2024. He has taken on the number seven jersey to make a starting position his under Arteta. If he continues to progress at this rate, he is in line to become a star.
