The 24-year-old German attacker became Mikel Arteta’s first signing of the summer transfer window and is expected to earn £330,000-a-week.
Arsenal paid Chelsea £65 million for the German international who has struggled so far at the Emirates.
Havertz has received some immense criticism for his performances on the pitch which were not up to expectations in terms of goal-scoring.
The 24-year-old is yet to score a goal or an assist which is a huge concern for Arsenal fans especially after the hefty price attached to his summer transfer.
But Mikel Arteta believes with time and effort, Havertz can make a significant impact on the team.
“I will tell you what I feel about him. That I love him and I see his qualities every single day in training,” said Arteta.
“His work-rate is excellent, a lot of things that he has brought to the team are so good. At the moment what is missing is to put the ball in the net and to arrive on those [chances], to have a different impact on the game.”
