Mikel Arteta firmly rejects January exit for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has stated clearly that he has no intention of parting ways with striker Eddie Nketiah during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Despite a difficult season for the 24-year-old, Arteta respects Nketiah’s contribution to the team, particularly given the absence of the injury-prone Gabriel Jesus.
Nketiah, while not a lock to start, has proven his worth at key moments on the field. His winning goal against Manchester United in January 2023, as well as an amazing hat-trick in the 5-0 victory over Sheffield United in October, shows his capacity to make a huge impact in high-stakes contests.
