The Gunners left no doubt about their Premier League title ambitions after a thumping 5-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal secured their fifth Premier League win in a row at relegation-threatened Burnley.
Mikel Arteta’s side has kept the pressure on both Liverpool and Man City by securing three points last night.
Martin Odegaard’s goal paved way for Arsenal’s domination, followed by Bukayo Saka’s brace which was then complemented by Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz in the second-half.
The Gunners showcased a confident, dominant brand of football and manager Mikel Arteta was quite delighted with his side’s hunger for goals.
“Really happy with the performance, with the result and the individual and collective contribution of each player as well,” the Arsenal boss said.
“That was very, very good.
“And the fact that the team looked like it wanted more. It wasn’t satisfied.
“They wanted to score more, they didn’t want to concede a goal. I’m really pleased to hit that consistency.”
The North Londoners will now take on Porto for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday.
