Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is pumped up after back-to-back wins since their loss to Man City last month. He has said that his side’s recent victories over Aston Villa, Leicester, and Everton have helped the North London club regain their momentum and confidence.

The Gunners are chasing their first Premier League title since 2004 and they are almost on the finishing line. After the 3-1 defeat to Man City, Arsenal overcame Aston Villa in a comeback win. They later beat Leicester City and Everton to strengthen their position on the top.

Arsenal’s recent run of three wins on the spin has seen them open up a five-point lead at the top over Man City. Arteta was speaking ahead of tomorrow’s home clash with 19th-placed Bournemouth Arteta admitted his side has taken huge confidence from their recent results.

“It gives you momentum, it gives you confidence,” Arteta told his pre-match press conference.

”It puts you in a better position in the league table, which at the end of the day is the most important thing.”

Regardless of what happens over the remainder of the season, Arteta believes his young squad are brimming with potential.

“Much more to come,” the Spanish coach said. ”We can do things much better in many aspects of the game. We still have players with immense growth potential, individually and collectively and as a club as well.

”We have to be seeking that excellence and perfectionism and trying to recruit the best people to do that and all the time having the right mindset to reach that level.”
