Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli will be fit and available to play in the weekend clash against Brighton.
The Brazilian forward missed the 1-1 Champions League draw at PSV Eindhoven due to illness and has since recovered.
Martinelli has scored four goals in 19 appearances this season and will be available to face the Seagulls.
“Martinelli is feeling good,” said the boss.
Midfielder Mohamed Elneny was taken off in Tuesday’s game against PSV and was replaced by Martin Odegaard after an hour.
According to the manager, the veteran midfielder underwent a scan to determine the severity of his hamstring issue, but it didn’t look serious.
“Mo had to be subbed because he felt something in his hamstring,” reported the Spaniard.
“We did a scan and it doesn’t look too serious so he’s going to be with us I think very soon which is good news as well.”
The Gunners would also hope Takehiro Tomiyasu’s return from his calf injury will go smoothly but won’t be back until the start of next year.
Arsenal would still be without their long-term absentees, with Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber all still out.
