Arsenal has received a bid from Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr for Aubameyang.
The Gunners will be open to offers after the 32-year old striker was stripped of captaincy last month due to a disciplinary breach.
They have received an offer for the Gabon striker for a loan until the end of this season with a clause of signing him permanently in the summer.
Aubameyang has 18 months left on his contract and the club is yet to respond to the offer.
He has returned early from AFCON due to his minor heart conditions and Mikel Arteta was asked about the striker’s situation at the club.
“Yeah, he’s in London and going through some examinations because we haven’t had any clarity from the Gabon national team about the reasons why he came back”, Arteta said in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool.
“So, obviously it’s our obligation to make sure he’s safe and in good condition and not any issues related to that and try to avoid any suggestion that that’s the case because so far historically with everything we’ve done with the player he’s never had an issue. So hopefully that’s the case.”
