Since taking over as manager of Arsenal, Arteta hasn’t been averse to placing his trust in youthful players. Ethan Nwaneri became the youngest player ever to play in the Premier League when the Spanish manager gave him his league debut at the age of 15.
Now, Arteta has once more demonstrated how significant Arsenal’s academy players can be by inviting Salah-Eddine to first-team practise, as seen in the image below.
Footballer Salah-Eddine, a native of the Netherlands, has occasionally represented his nation’s young teams. The fact that Arteta is ready to let the 19-year-old participate in first-team training shows how highly regarded he is at the organisation.
Instead of a signal that he might play against Brentford in the Premier League this weekend, this could simply be to give the young player a taste of first-team action and try and earn some experience.
Salah-Eddine started the season by being loaned out to Hull City, however due to an injury, he was returned to Arsenal.
