Bukayo Saka will be doubtful for the next two games says Mikel Arteta.

The England international picked up a knock in the 2-2 home draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Saka is now doubtful for the next two matches and could potentially miss the weekend tie against Bournemouth.

The young winger has registered four goals and registered three assists from seven games in all competitions this season.

Arteta said:”He was limping quite badly after the match. We had to get him off the field which is never a good sign. He hasn’t been able to participate in the session.”

Declan Rice also was subbed at half-time in the North London derby with a back problem but Arteta insists his injury is not that serious.

“He hasn’t trained yet. He couldn’t carry on in the game. He was uncomfortable. Hopefully it’s not something big. We are confident it’s nothing big,” Arteta told reporters.

“He had to leave the pitch and that’s never a good sign. Hopefully it will progress in the next few days. He won’t be available. Let’s see if he has a chance or not (for the weekend).”
