The England international has managed only 245 minutes of action across all competitions as he recently endured another setback due to a knee injury.
Smith Rowe has been limited to only 22 games over the past two seasons and his recurring injuries have immensely hampered his progress.
The academy graduate’s situation has attracted the likes of Aston Villa and West Ham United who are keen to sign the midfielder on loan for the remainder of the season.
Hammers are reportedly frontrunners to sign the midfielder on loan according to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano.
A move to West Ham would help Smith Rowe garner more Premier League experience and develop further.
But manager Mikel Arteta that the young midfielder looks settled at the Emirates.
Arteta said: “I’m really happy with Emile. He’s in the right trajectory.
“Now, he’s settled, he’s training really well and you know I’m not going to talk about individual situations.
“Emile is Emile. We know he’s got incredible qualities and we’re really happy to have him.
“What he needs now is chances to put all the desire and quality that he has on the pitch. In order to do that we have to give him minutes.”
