Mo Salah names Arsenal as title challengers this season

Arsenal will be gunning for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners are expected to comfortably finish in top-four finish this season and qualify for Champions League next season.

Like every season, Man City are the favourites to win the Premier League crown along with Liverpool.

Arsenal had a dream start to the 2022/23 campaign winning all three of their Premier League games and are sitting top of the league table.

But Mo Salah believes Arsenal are among the three teams who will be chasing the Premier League crown this year.

“City, Chelsea, Arsenal are doing good,” Salah told Sky Sports when asked who would be in the mix. “Of course, I didn’t mention Liverpool because I always put us there. We want to win the Premier League. These three, with us, I think are going to be the competition.”

“United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal – these top teams, you always want to play against them,” Salah said. “It’s always going to be a derby. That competition between Liverpool and Manchester United is always going to be there because we’ve won the league a few times, they’ve won the league a few times. There’s always that competition between both teams and it’s going to be there forever because, history-wise, it’s the biggest two teams in England.”
