The Gunners have been pretty busy this window and has already made three signings before the start of their preseason.
They are reportedly close to secure a move for both Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal’s £72 million signing Nicolas Pepe has struggled to hit the ground running since his arrival in 2019 when Unai Emery was in charge.
Mikel Arteta preferred Bukayo Saka over Pepe in the last two seasons on the right-wing role.
The Ivory Coast has struggled a lot at Arsenal and scored 18 in just over 80 Premier League matches.
Darren Ambrose believes this is the end for Nicolas Pepe’s career at the North London club.
“With the links to Raphinha,” said Ambrose about the £72 million man. “Then perhaps we could see the end of Pepe, which hasn’t quite worked out, for whatever reason.
“A lot of it is down to the transfer fee, which isn’t Pepe’s fault. But I think Jesus and Nketiah are suitable in the Premier League going forward and possibly battle for Champions League football going forward.”
