Nketiah still has three years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are ready to make an official departure of striker Eddie Nketiah to Crystal Palace on a permanent deal. The 25-year-old has been the subject of much speculation throughout this summer.
The Englishman was part of Arsenal’s academy system since 2015. He scored 46 goals in 60 appearances at the youth level for Arsenal and has since scored 38 goals in 168 first-team matches across all competitions. He also won one FA Cup and two Community Shields with the club.
Nketiah struggled to find regular place under Mikel Arteta. He started 10 of his 27 top-flight appearances after falling behind Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in the pecking order.
Nketiah still has three years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium. He was strongly linked with a move to Marseille earlier this summer, but the Ligue 1 giants decided to refuse this deal.
Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest were also in the race but finally, Crystal Palace won the race with an improved contract. As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Eagles have now agreed a deal with Arsenal to sign Nketiah for £25m plus £5m in add-ons. The Three Lions international is set to undergo medical tests.
