Paris Saint-Germain sporting director, Leonardo Jardim denies rumours of Arsenal contact about Laywin Kurzawa.
There were reports that claimed that the Gunners had agreed a €5m-€7m fee for an immediate transfer.
However, it is believed that a free transfer has been set for the summer when the left-back’s contract dies down. This is a huge issue for the Gunners since they are currently lacking fit fullbacks.
Kieran Tierney is set to return sometime in April while Sead Kolasinac continues to nurse a thigh sprain. Hector Bellerin will likely spend some more sessions in the rehab room to fully cure himself from the knee injury he suffered last term.
Mikel Arteta has already voiced his frustrations at how he has been forced to play midfielders in the right and left-back positions – Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka. Kurzawa could have offered some injury relief for a very low fee but Arsenal have seemingly not even approached PSG.
“We have never received an offer, zero, for Kurzawa,” Leonardo said. “He is playing a lot of matches, he is here. We have not had a concrete offer, he is a player who is also coming to the end of his contract but we have not received anything. Arsenal have never called us, we have nothing.”
