The midfielder is currently playing for Villareal after being released by the Gunners last year. Despite not playing for the club in the final 3 years of his stay at the Emirates, Cazorla continues to have a massive following amongst the Arsenal fanbase.
He was almost a cult hero whose footballing talent was stolen away from him with recurring injuries.
Arsenal are due to face Napoli in the Quarterfinals of the Europa League this month. They also have the chance to jump over to the third spot of the Premier League with a win over Newcastle United on Monday.
While the club has not enjoyed Champions League football for three seasons now, they have a very good opportunity to make their way back into the illustrious competition.
Cazorla said, “Arsenal have adapted to the big change and are doing very well with Emery.
“It takes time to adapt to such a big change, changing the manager after 23 years and the new manager needs time to make changes.
“Arsenal have been steadily improving this season and have a good enough squad to be competitive and win trophies.”
