According to reports from Sportsmediaste, Arsenal are hearing out offers from AC Milan for midfielder Lucas Torreira.
AC Milan are keen on signing the Uruguayan midfielder on a two-year loan period with the option to buy him for a reported €38 million.
Torreira has established himself as one of the most important players in Unai Emery’s squad after signing for the club from Sampdoria on a transfer fee of £26.4 million. In his first season, the 23-year old made 50 appearances across all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists.
Lucas Torreira is one of the most tenacious midfielders in Europe and one of Arsenal’s most important entities. With Arsenal’s limited transfer budget, they need to get the most out of their current players if they are to have a good season. Not only does the club have a limited transfer budget but they could also ose some players. Hence, letting go of someone as important as Lucas Torreira will certainly won’t benefit Arsenal.
