Stan Kroenke To Inject Millions Into Arsenal To Cover Losses

The Daily Mail reported that Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke will no longer watch from the sidelines as the club suffers financial losses during this pandemic.

Arsenal heavily depended on their matchday ticket sales for revenue and that has been put to a complete halt. Mikel Arteta was also been forced to convince his players to take a 12.5% pay cut just like everyone in the board.

Kroenke is about to pump millions into the Emirates to cover some of the financial hits. That could mean offering up a substantial transfer budget or simply covering all the wages and unpaid debts. David Ornstein wrote on the Athletic that Arsenal will stick to their self-sustaining model with financial support from the owners.

Us fans can still hope of a Dayot Upamecano signing this summer with all jobs safe at the club. A functioning system is the only way we can hope of improving the team for next season. Arteta has already been hard at work along with the players from the confines of their own home.

The Spaniard revealed his hectic workday schedule on Arsenal’s YouTube channel, showing how much actually goes on behind the scenes. Fans can feel optimistic about the situation at the Emirates even through these tough times.
