Swedish Billionaire Daniel Ek Eager To Buy Arsenal

Arsenal are a subject of interest for Swedish billionaire, Daniel Ek.

Reports suggest that Ek’s intentions to purchase The Gunners off of the hands of Stan Kroenke are very real.

He publicly voiced his intentions on Twitter after seeing the protests against the current ownership. Thousands of Arsenal fans took to the streets right outside the Emirates to voice their distaste for the Korenkes. Tensions have been high for a while now following a decade of mediocrity in terms of Arsenal’s performance.

Fans believe that the North London outfit is heading in the wrong direction with Kroenke not investing enough to keep them competitive. While the evidence might not be false, Josh Kroenke came out and revealed that Arsenal are not for sale at this moment.

The same report also claimed that Kroenke Sports Entertainment (KSE) would consider a bid in the region of £2 billion for Arsenal. But Ek’s net worth is recorded to be £3.4 billion according to Forbes. That means his ambition of owning Arsenal will only be possible with a partner or a team of investors.

Arsenal are in a very delicate state with performances dropping by significant margins each season. Unless change arrives very soon, we cannot see the situation improving any time soon.
