Theirry Henry makes an honest admission about Arsenal striker.
The Arsenal team has two strikers in their ranks this season and the duo have managed to score only six goals between them.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard have outscored them this season.
The squad has been heavily linked with a prolific centre-forward this January and several strikers have been linked with a move to the Emirates.
Gabriel Jesus has struggled in front of goal this term but Tuesday’s win over Sevilla proved why the Brazilian is the perfect man in Mikel Arteta’s system.
He partnered with Saka and Martinelli to help Arsenal move top of their Champions League group.
Club legend Thierry Henry explained how important is the Brazilian forward to Arteta’s setup and also admitted he would have ‘loved’ to play alongside him.
“I would have loved to play with him. He’s a great guy to have around,” Henry explained. “I’m sure if you ask anyone, they’d love to play with him. Is he a guy who’s going to score you 25/30 goals? I don’t know, I would like to think so.
“He offers so much sometimes that he’s so tired to finish. You need to be fresh in your head to be able to finish at times. The pressure, the holding, the passing and the finishing tonight was brilliant.”
