The Brazilian forward has been linked with Mikel Arteta’s side for the past few weeks now.
City are planning to make a move for Erling Haaland in the summer which could be worrisome for Gabriel Jesus.
The 25-year-old attacker has made over 230 appearances for the Cityzens bagging a total of 94 goals.
But he has struggled for consistent starts under Pep Guardiola this season.
Jesus is contracted with Manchester City until the summer of 2023 and he could actually fit Mikel Arteta’s system.
“We saw that he scored four goals at the weekend [against Watford],” Henry said on CBS Sports.
“When he is in the box, he’s one of the three that is playing, or since [Sergio] Aguero left, he has that nine instinct.”
“What I like with him is that when he puts pressure, whether it’s on the left, on the right or in the middle, he doesn’t have a problem to defend in those situations by coming back and helping his team,” added Henry.
