Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento believes he will play for Arsenal next season, according to a report from a popular Arsenal-focused social media account.
The 23-year-old England international has attracted strong interest from both Arsenal and Manchester City.
Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs recently confirmed that both Premier League clubs are prepared to make offers for the right-back. Newcastle reportedly value Livramento at £70 million.
Arsenal currently have Jurrien Timber and Ben White as their two recognised right-backs.
Timber has established himself as the first-choice option, and the Gunners could sell White in the upcoming transfer window.
That potential departure would force manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta to sign a replacement.
Livramento could fill that role. The former Chelsea academy product can also play at left-back, offering useful versatility.
The X account Hand of Arsenal, which has nearly 280,000 followers, posted a detailed update on May 1.
According to the account, Livramento is “convinced he is joining Arsenal.”
However, the same post stresses that Arsenal have not yet made any contact with Newcastle, and there is no current indication that the defender is the club’s top target.
The account also reported that Arsenal feel confident Jurrien Timber will sign a long-term contract extension this summer.
Talks have progressed well, and the new deal would reflect Timber’s status within the squad.
Additionally, the post mentions that Arsenal are tracking Ajax and Belgium attacking player Mika Godts, who would be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium.
While Livramento personally believes a transfer to Arsenal will happen, fans should treat the claim cautiously.
The account itself notes that daily transfer links often represent Berta conducting basic checks rather than confirmed moves.
For now, Livramento remains a Newcastle player, but the summer window could bring a major change for the promising full-back.
