Top Arsenal Managerial Target Reject Napoli For A Chance To Work Abroad

One of the top managers on Arsenal’s shortlist, Massimiliano Allegri is said to be interested in working abroad.

Tuttojuve claim that the former Juvnetus manager met with Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis and Giovani Galeone over dinner. Everyone suspected this to be in relation to the potential sacking of Carlo Ancelotti who has led Napoli to 8 games without a win now.

It was Galeone who revealed details of their meeting to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. He said, “The relationship between the former Juventus coach and De Laurentiis? We were in Milan in a famous restaurant, and at dinner there was the president with Allegri, but the intention of the technician is to go and train abroad. To question Ancelotti does not exist.”

Now, Allegri had failed to impress on his meeting with Arsenal but then again Unai Emery did. There is no telling where he will end up but his chances of doing so at North London seem strong at this point.

Arsenal are failing to cope even under interim boss, Freddie Ljungberg. He was expected to at least restore some structure to the side but the Gunners ended up losing 1-2 against Brighton And Hove Albion at home.
