Unai Emery believes Tottenham Hotspur are much superior to Arsenal as the two sides prepare to face each other in the North London Derby.
Emery arrived at the Emirates stadium at the start of the season and has given a new dimension to the team. The Gunners have looked pretty balanced and seem to have found the rhythm which they have been craving for long.
Since Mauricio Pochettino took charge, Spurs have become one of the European powerhouses. Lack of trophies might be a concern for them but the way Pochettini has changed things at the club they just need to maintain their good work on the pitch.
This is the first time Emery will be facing his old friend on the English soil and we could expect a tactical battle in North London on Sunday. Emery said, “At the moment, Tottenham is better than us in the table and better than us last year but in history Arsenal is better at other moments than Tottenham.
“I think we are going to live with two (sets of) supporters and I think it will be a very good atmosphere.
“The first match is in our stadium and with our supporters and we want on Sunday to give them the best performance and can give them our energy and our things on the pitch to help them push us.”
