Unai Emery has revealed his plans for the Europa League final.
Arsenal ended their Premier League campaign on a positive note as they defeated Burnley in a very convincing display. A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was enough as the Gunners subdued the Clarets 3-1.
With an Europa League final due to be played in Baku Emery’side will have a staggering 17 days to prepare for the final. A 4-2 win over Valencia in the semifinal set the date with their London rival Chelsea who had to toil a bit to get the better of their opponent Eintracht Frankfurt.
Emery has insisted he would take the break to rectify thing and would consider it as an international break.
“We prepare like when it’s an international break,
“We will have two days off and for the first week we will not be thinking about the final.
“We will train three days in London and then next weekend we will have it off and then we will start on Tuesday in London with three days training preparing with all of our focus on the final.
“We will go to Baku three or four days before the final, Saturday I think, and prepare for the match over the last three training sessions.
“It’s the same as when we have an international break.”
