Arsenal had a very busy summer as Unai Emery was appointed as the new manager of the club after Arsene Wenger decided to leave the club after 22 years. The 46 year old signed a three-year deal worth £15 million.
After losing their opening two fixtures under the Spaniard against Manchester City and Chelsea, Gunners boast a 100 per cent record since in all the competitions.
Despite not being at their best against Watford on Saturday, they won the match 2-0. The win was their fifth in a row in the Premier League, with victories in the Europa League and Carabao Cup adding up to an impressive run for the London Outfit.
The London Outfit will face Qarabag on Tuesday and Emery has revealed two main reasons that the club will respect their opponents. He also insisted that he wants to finish first in the group.
He told club’s official website: “With Qarabag, we have a lot of respect for them.
“They started with a good performance against Sporting Lisbon in Lisbon in the first match.
“They lost 2-0 but they gave a very good performance against them, with good players and also with good spirit and good tactical intentions in the game.
“I remember also, last year here, Atletico Madrid there were two matches against them. They could not win.
“It’s for me, two very good examples for us to have the respect for them.
Also we have the confidence in our players to do the best performance tomorrow and also with our work, we can have a great match with a good performance for thinking only to win and to do one good match.”
