Unai Emery Still Under The Impression His Arsenal Job Is Secure

Unai Emery remains adamant his job at Arsenal is secured.

The Spaniard is on borrowed time at North London after leading the side to just 2 wins in their last 12 Premier League games.

Emery said, “My future is today and tomorrow. Really the club is supporting me. I feel the club, everyone responsible in that area is backing me. Really, I appreciate it a lot. I feel strong with that support and know my responsibility to come back and change that situation. I am feeling responsible with my work and I know we need to improve.

“In all my career when I lost I am not feeling well but I am feeling that responsibility to come back and that responsibility to analyse and work to improve to achieve our performance.

“We need to recover our confidence and need to achieve good balance and be more compact. We have very good players but now they are playing sometimes without confidence.”

The former Paris Saint-Germain coach said, “In my career, 15 years, I had some situations like today. In every club. In Almeria, in Valencia, in Sevilla…

“Every coach will have some moments. In 15 years, I have had success a lot of times but also bad moments. Really, my career is going up usually, but when I can, I can separate moments like that.”
