Manchester City and Liverpool have dominated England and Europe in the last season and seems to be on their way of doing it again this season.
Of the remaining four teams in the top six, the Chelsea and Manchester United are clearly going through a rebuilding phase and find it tough to even crack the top four. However, Arsenal who clearly look stronger than the others might be able to give City and Pool a run for their money should the squad perform up to its potential, according to former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
“Maybe the team who has the potential is Arsenal who could be the closest,” the 69-year-old said. “Chelsea looks a bit young; not enough mature up front, not enough mature at the back.
“Manchester United hasn’t found certainty where you could say today they can fight for the championship. They look quite comfortable with two in front. Man City has a huge technical level where they can always create chances.
“Liverpool looks very strong at the back and up front and they have a midfield who knows their job; maybe less creative than Man City. So they look a little bit in front of all the others.”
